POM Hydro Energy Limited currently has three small hydropower projects operational in the states of Himachal Pradesh and Haryana having a total power generation capacity of 4.8MW.
All the three projects are registered under Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). This allows emission-reduction projects to earn certified emission reduction (CER) credits.
Khukhni
Khukni is a sleepy hamlet in the Yamuna Nagar District of Haryana; a canal, which is a part of the Western Yamuna Canal System, passes through Khukni. POM Hydro Energy Limited has been allotted canal-based mini hydropower project under a Public-Private Partnership with the Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA), under the Department of Renewable Energy, Government of Haryana.

- Built over 49,0005 square feet.
- Two Vertical Full Kaplan turbines with a Siphon Intake System and runner diameter of 3500mm. Each of the turbines installed by Boving Fouress has four runner blades and a speed of 75 RPM, generating a combined 1.4MW of power.
- Upstream Head Race Channel, downstream Tail Race Channel, Trash Racks for removing floating debris and Trash Pit for disposal.
- Rated Head 2.46 metres with capacity of 700KW.
- Rated Discharge at 100 per cent load is 33.536cusecs.
- Two Vertical Induction Generator with capacity of 700KW each with 10 per cent overload capacity.
Mussapur
Mussapur is a small but bustling village in the Karnal District of Haryana. Running through this village is a canal, a part of the Western Yamuna Canal System. hydropower project based on a PPP model with the Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA).

- Two Vertical Full Kaplan turbines with a Siphon Intake System and runner diameter of 3500mm. The turbines installed by Boving Fouress each have four runner blades and a speed of 75 RPM, generating a combined 1.4MW of power.

Chakshi
Chakshi is a small village in Upper Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. The company’s Chakshi Plant was commissioned in 2012 and is fully operational. Located on the riverbank, the plant is assured of an ample supply of water from the run of the river and currently generates 2MW of power.

- Run of the river power project built of Chakshi stream with catchment area of 19.9 Sq. Km. with a design discharge of 1.15 Cumecs.
- Horizontal Shaft pelton turbines with rated output of 2.0 MW
- 2 MW Generator with 20% continuous overload capacity.
- 730 mm dia and 963 m long steel penstock with design discharge of 1.08 cumecs
- Trench type diversion weir, rectangular RCC intake structure, hopper type de-silting cum fore bay tank
