Capacity Enhancement & Upcoming Projects

The capacity enhancement of our Khukhani & Mussapur power projects by 0.7 MW is under process. With this capacity enhancement, the capacities of Khukhani & Mussapur projects will increase to 2.1 MW each. For such an expansion there will be less capital outlay as we have to only install plant & machinery with minor civil work. Other than this we are exploring to expand our capacities in canal based project since they have lessor uncertainties, high PLF, low execution risk and high profitability.

The Company has been allotted four small hydro-projects with capacity totaling to 25.75 MW. These projects are in different phases of approvals. The details of these upcoming projects are as follows:

• Uhl, Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh – This run-of-river based project is worth Rs 140 crore. The project is expected to generate 14MW power.
• Kilhi Bahl, Kullu district,  Himachal Pradesh – This run-of-river based project is worth Rs. 49.39 crore. It is expected to generate 4.5MW power.
